Childcare


1st Trimester Early Prenatal Care

This class will help woman in early pregnancy (1-4 months) understand what to expect throughout the pregnancy, including what happens at the office visits, lab tests, ultrasounds, nutrition, weight gain, importance of compliance in the prenatal period, and signs and symptoms that should be reported to their provider.

Breastfeeding Basics Class

This class is designed to familiarize moms with the benefits of breastfeeding a baby. Instruction on breastfeeding techniques and how to prevent common breastfeeding problems will be discussed. All classes are available in Spanish and English.

Heart Saver CPR

This certification course offers adults the opportunity to learn basic information about performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on people of all ages, ranging from infants to the elderly. Registration and payment in advance is required. The fee for this program is $40 and includes materials.

This program includes low-impact aerobics, mild stretching, and bending exercises led by a certified aerobics instructor. Participants can modify the routines depending on their skill level. This is a free program.

Outpatient Nutrition Counseling

Individual counseling on various nutrition diagnosis such as weight loss, high cholesterol, low fat diet, cardiac diet, diabetes, pediatric to geriatrics. Payment is expected at time of service. Fee: $45. Call: 312-770-2275 for appointment.

Health Educators On-Call

If you would like trained, knowledgeable health care professionals to host a class on a specific health topic for members of your community organization or group, look no further. Health educators can speak about a wide variety of topics, ranging from diabetes and asthma to exercise and nutrition.
